In memory of the 2,977 innocent victims who died 22 years ago today in the Twin Towers in New York, the crash of hijacked United Airlines Flight 93 in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and The Pentagon in Washington, DC.
A day that all of us who were alive on that day will forever remember with unspeakable sadness.

We were in Chile on 9/11/01! It was so hard to be away from home. Chile has their own 9/11/73 when the coup happened. Hope you’ll read my article. Thanks.

I didn’t really grasp what the attack on Pearl Harbor meant to my parents and their generation until September 11, 2001.

Thanks, Janet. That day I was so worried about my NYC sister and her boyfriend of the time who was in finance, until I heard the good news they were on vacation! The Chileans were so kind, asking if our families were all right. I was very moved by that.

It seems like a bad movie. So hard to believe people do this to other people. We need to remember.
